I recently downloaded ios16 and i am not showing e recently deleted messages under edit on my iPhone 13. Where is it?

Tap on the "Filters" option at the top left corner, and it should appear at the bottom of the groups there if you have deleted something recently.

Have you deleted any messages since you updated to ios 16?

Any messages deleted before updating to ios 16 are unrecoverable.

The recently deleted messages option is an iOS 16 feature only. It does not exist on earlier iOS versions.
