If you are having difficulties with sending or receiving email, often the easiest method of resolving the problem is to remove the existing email account from the iPad - perform a restart - and then re-add the email account.


To delete your email account:

Settings > Mail > Accounts > [Your email account] > Delete Account


iPad restart:

Force restart iPad - Apple Support


Add email account:

Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
