Names in messages are not showing up

The names in messages are not showing up. I've tried everything short of deleting all my contacts and adding them again. what the fudge is up with this shiz?

Text messages not showing contact name. I have only noticed this over the last couple of days but it seems when someone messages me it does not display their name. It simply just says messages has anyone else ran into this? Is there a way to change it back so it displays your contacts name?

Contact names not showing in messages Out of the blue my contact names are not showing on several of my contacts in Messages. I can find them when I type their name in the To field but then once sent it only shows their phone number. Did all the fixes I found online and updated phone software. Anyone else and any solution?
