Since Pages Update to 12.2, my short cut functions F1, F2, etc are no longer working. Any suggestions?

Do you find this happening with custom shortcuts, normal functions assigned to the F keys or both? 

If these are custom shortcuts, could you please try removing and re-assigning a shortcut to see if there is any change? Use a keyboard shortcut to apply a text style in Pages on Mac

• I try removing and re-assigning shortcut and it still doesn't work. Press the F key just make a sound and nothing happen.
• The manual way is to highlight the text then choose the style yourself AFTER typing. But that clears all the subscript/superscript text and convert it to normal text.
• Now the only way is I have to go and select the Style BEFORE typing, which is extremely time consuming and put a strained on my wrist since I have to move the mouse 100s of time select different styles for my project's need (which uses different styles including subscript and superscript).

this is driving me crazy. This isnt the first time. I bet some smart programmer forgot to flip the switch for the keys to work properly and now we have to wait for the next update to restore functionality. I am on the edge of switching to word.

This makes absolutely no sense. I want to switch to the text style or to using bullets before I begin typing, not after I typed and have to highlight it. I hope they change it back with the next update.

You now have to highlight the text you want to use the function on - which seems stupid but they have decided to make it a feature

Oh I wish they would change this back to be able to use them whenever. I like to change my bullets and text style while I outline! I am glad i am not the only one working through this.

Apple is pure genius. After the update, now I have to highlight and change the text setting AFTER typing. Just wondering did someone actually ask for this feature?
