what is a quick way to delete photos on my iPhone 13 Pro Max?

Select the photos and delete them. You can select many photos at once, by tapping the first photo then moving your finger across many more, then hold the finger at the border of the display, while the photos scroll below your finger, then tap the delete button. Do not put more than thousand photos at a time into the Recently Deleted album, but empty it, if it gets full.
