Howdy,

I just picked up a 2018 MacBook pro with Mac OS high sierra version 10.13.6. I want to upgrade my OS to a version just before Ventura, is it possible? what is that version called and where can i go to download?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, click here, and then on the download link for Monterey.

Catalina and newer won't run 32-bit software; download and use Go64 as well as using the first link above.
