MacOS Monterey and Ventura 13

Hi, I just updated my mac OS monterey and I realized that it became a ventura 13! is it normal?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.6

Ventura 13.0 is the latest macOS version so if you upgraded, it would be normal.

Unwanted "upgrade" to Ventura I bought a Mac mini from OWC that OWC's web page said had macOS Monterey installed. I did not want Ventura because Ventura would not work with my audio interface. When the Mac mini arrived, it had Ventura installed on it. It took me weeks to install Monterey. Now I discover that it has Ventura on it again. I did nothing to have it "upgrade" to Ventura. Why is this happening and how do I prevent my Mac from installing Ventura? I absolutely do not want Ventura. Why is Apple forcing Ventura on me when I do not want it?

Upgrade to Macos ventura I upgraded my Mac from Monterey to Ventura and I got just the option of upgrading to 13.0.1 I saw that this upgrade weight less then to previous installation of 13.0 My question is if that ok because it look strange to me. Thank's.

Mac mini late 2014 officially just now upgraded to Ventura! WHY?!! Hello, Original OS on my Mac mini late 2014 - Monterey (officially supported). In System Pref Update was waiting an upgrade to Ventura, which I did ... (about 3.6GB size). Everything updated smoothly - BUT I was under the impression late mini 2014 model was chopped off receiving the Ventura installation? Can anyone explain what's happened? Or Apple having a change of heart for older hardware? Thanks, Rob
