why is my watch battery dying

my battery capacity is much lower than it was hen it was new and only holds charge for 79% how do I change this?

Apple Watch SE at 89% battery capacity after 8 months. Seems Off. So I have had my Apple Watch SE for 8 months now and I have noticed that the battery capacity has dropped fairly quickly. My friend and I have had our watches for the same amount of time and theirs is still at 98%. Can someone explain why and tips if I should replace the battery or just buy a whole new watch later on?
