Fall detection not working

I have fall detection turned on and all setting are correct. I fell and the watch did not detect. I reset the watch & verified the settings I passed out and did a hard fall and again the watch did not detect. What can I do to get it working?

I had the same thing happen. My watch used to think I fell if I hit a hammer too hard. This past week I had a fall that required an ambulance ride and the watch never noticed. I recommend these to my elderly family and friends and this now worries me that it won’t work for them.

I called the Apple support and they didn’t understand what I was talking about.

After talking with Apple they can not "Guarantee" they will work. They did all sorts of testing and said my watch was working correctly. I have not had another fall to test it but I am doubtful that it is working. I bought this so that when I went hiking and had a fall it would detect it so my family would know something was wrong. I guess I was wrong. Expensive watch not to work as "advertised"
