I don’t mind the line too much bit it gets irritating when i want to take a screenshot and it is in the way, is there anyway to remove it or at least take a screenshot without it getting in the photo

There is not a way to remove the line from the bottom of the display. However, when you take a screenshot, you can edit and crop the photo right away so it doesn’t save with that line there.
When you take a screenshot and the thumbnail goes to the bottom corner, tap on it. It will open right away to the edit options. Then you can drag the bottom up just that little bit where the bar is, tap the Done button and it will save the screenshot, without the line, to your Photos app.
