How to get BPM values linked with songs in Apple Music

What would be an efficient way of adding the Beats Per Minute - (bpm) values when Importing from a CD into Apple Music?

When importing to Apple Music (with local media) My Prefs are set to auto-retrieve CD info from internet.

If cd info is being parsed out to grace notes or whomever, should not the computer crunch the numbers and be able to assign a bpm value and save it to the metadata in Apple Music?

Apple even uses that example to make smart playlists  

sic. Create a Smart Playlist that includes only songs that are just the right speed for your workout by typing the number of beats per minute in the BPM field. For instructions, see Create a Smart Playlist.

When I access the hyperlink the example has changed to picking years of when the music was released.

How can the bpm values be linked with the file, so as to have bpm values displayed?

This truly is a first-world problem, but a mundane process of analyzing beats per minute (Tempo) for songs that you import to a native app (Apple Music) should not be a process hog.

Does anyone have a solution to my tantrum?
