Bought my new phone yesterday and I used it fine last night, did a face recognition setup, but did not set up a passcode. Now today it's asking for a passcode. I am logged into iTunes, but don't see anywhere I can access my phone.
What do I need to do?

You cannot set up a face id without a 6 digit passcode that is a requirement.
YOu will need to do this If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support
Do not have a passcode for my new iphone 13 and I can't open it
