Welcome to Apple Support Communities. To pair an Apple Watch to an iPhone 14, the Apple Watch needs to be running watchOS 9. This is the only software version that is currently compatible with iOS 16, which is required on the iPhone 14. watchOS 9 requires an Apple Watch Series 4 or later. So no, you will not be able to pair the Apple Watch Series 3 with an iPhone 14. More info on watchOS 9 can be found here:
