Critical Alerts Toggle

I just did a reset of my iPhone 11, iOS 16.0.3, because I was having a lot of connectivity issues. Now that everything is back up, the Notifications area of Settings no longer has a toggle switch for Critical Alerts. The DexCom G6 app requires that this toggle be turned on, but there's nothing I can do without that toggle switch. This is a continuous glucose monitor so I need the app to work -- but it doesn't without the Critical Alerts turned on. Any ideas how to fix this?

I just checked the app that I use that supports critical alerts. Everything is turned on within the app. Once I turn it on, I can see in notifications that that app has a critical alert set but there is no toggle in Settings>Notifications. There is, however, a toggle in Settings>Notifications><Name of app>.

Have you checked the settings in the DexCom app? I've only ever found critical alert settings within apps, not in the iPhone Settings.

Yes, from the settings within the app, you select Notifications, which then redirects you to Apple's notifications area -- where the toggle is missing....
