Are my airpod max defective?
everytine I answer a call I sound far away. I made multiple calls from different places with the phone close to my face and the other person still is unable to hear me

If you notice issues with the sound on your AirPods Max, try unpairing them and pairing again with your iPhone to help with possible connection and sound issues:
Unpair from an iPhone:
1. Tap Settings > Bluetooth.
2. Find the device that you want to unpair and tap the Info button.
3. Tap Forget This Device.
4. Restart your iPhone.
