Unable to erase overseas temporary number from WhatsApp contacts

I recently returned from a trip and reinstated original sim. My WhatsApp contacts have both my original number as well as the temporary number . How do I get rid of the temporary country code in my WhatsApp contacts.?

You will need to contact WhatsApp for help with their software.
