Need to take MacBook Pro in for service and can't find my proof of purchase for AppleCare.

Enter your serial number at: https://checkcoverage.apple.com

If it reports your correct coverage then you are fine and should not need the proof of purchase at all to get service.

Is Applecare listed under your device as being active? If so, it should be fine.
