All Apple TV models with system software tvOS 16 or later will support Matter.

Support for Thread networking is more fragmented, by hardware configuration. (Matter can work over the regular home network (Wi-Fi) or over the Thread mesh, with the combination giving more reliability.) Thread is available on the 2021 model and the top line model of the upcoming 2022 model.
