Saved documents keep disappearing from files on my iPhone 14 Pro. Can anyone help me recover them or tell me why my phone keeps deleting my files? They are no where to be found, not in recently deleted or on iCloud Drive
Sorry, maybe I didn’t explain very clearly. The ‘On My iPhone’ option is still available. That is not the issue. The issue is that when files are saved in any part of files on my iPhone or iCloud Drive they randomly disappear, they are not in recently deleted and I did not delete them.

If you are referring to the files app then simply install some apps that store files, such as Pages, Numbers, Acrobat etc.. these are only suggestions. You will see that On My iPhone will appear again. You may have had some app which you had on your device and now you do not have it anymore. Please, recall which was that app.
