Internal impact damage to an iphone

Is it possible to have internal impact damage to an iPhone with no external damage. This is an iPhone SE less than 2 years old.

If your iPhone SE landed exactly on the side frame, this is possible. This part is strong enough to withstand accidental hits, without showing any clear visible damage.
