Apple Magic Keyboard acting weird

I recently bought a new iMac and when I use my magic keyboard it types on its own and keeps entering the last key I pressed multiple times plus it is delayed in its response. I have switched to another magic board on the same computer and it is doing the same thing but working fine on my other computer. Please help!

Hi mrsmoore112

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Congratulations on the new iMac!

You might want to check the keyboard settings in case some settings are not what they need to be.

Eg: may be something has been accidently altered, or an unwanted setting triggered
