Can I use Quick Start to transfer from my OLD iPhone 7 running on IOS 15.7 to the NEW iPhone 14 which has IOS 16 installed from manufacturer?

Thinking to buy a new iphone 14 but worry I cannot transfer using Quick Start. I am not planning to use iCloud.

Can I use Quick Start to transfer from my OLD iPhone 7 running on IOS 15.7 to the NEW iPhone 14 which has IOS 16 installed from manufacturer? Older version of IOS 15.7 to newer version of IOS 16, is it possible to transfer?
