Dictation stopped working in iOS 16

My dictation suddenly stopped working after I upgraded to iOS 16. In an attempt to fix this, I made sure I had the most recent iOS and updated my software to iOS, 16.3 without any improvement. I updated my network settings and restarted my iPhone multiple times. Throughout this whole process, my microphone has been working fine to talk on phone calls and record voice recordings.

Ultimately, the fix for this problem was changing my dictation keyboard to English (UK). Dictation works fine when dictating with the English (UK) keyboard, but stops working when I return to English (US) keyboard dictation. Is there any other solution for this problem?
