Emails auto deleting

i need to figure out how to keep my important emails from automatically deleting as soon as I mark it even as unread or move it back to the inbox or even flag the email. Whatever I do the emails are auto deleting in my email all the time and I need some of these emails for work, it’s very important, otherwise I’m thinking of ditching the iPhone again. I need help please. I’m thinking of selling this iPhone tomorrow if it keeps up

Troubleshooting Automatic eMail Deletion:

A. Add the eMail Account Back.

See if it all syncs when you add the eMail Account back. If it is on a Mail server the it should pop up. It may take some time, if you have thousands to download.

B. Use a New App Password:

Do you use an App Password? If so, try a new App Password. Sometimes, changes (i.e. updates) are made to the device, and then mail server syncing becomes an issue (which is what a new App Password it intended to fix). For example, you'd go here for gmailSign in with App Passwords - Google Account Help - Google
