How to recover my purchased movies?

I have purchased many movies since I have my apple account but many are missing from my library and I can not recover them. I see them in my purchase history but they do not show as purchased when I go on them and ask me to buy if I want to see them.

how can I make sure my library shows all my purchase at all time
