Apple Car Play with iPhone 14 Max Pro

I have a 2021 Rav4. Right now I have to plug in my iPhone11 Max Pro using a USB to lightening cable to get Car Play to work. I was thinking of getting the iPhone 14 Max Pro. It comes with a USB-C to Lightening cable to charge the phone. Will the USB to Lightening cable charge the iPhone 14 Max Pro (as it does now) when I plug in into the USB port when using Car Play?

Car Play with iPhone 13 My new car requires a usb plug-in style from the iphone to the USB port in order to use apple carplay. I was told I couldn’t use a usb charger chord with my new iPhone 13. Is this true? If so, is there an adapter? True with my computer as well, how do I plug my new iPhone 13 into my computer?! I have USB charging ports in my couch as well, this is so disappointing.

USB to USB-C for Apple car play I have apple carplay in my truck and iphone 12pro. I have. Been using USB lighting cable and it works fine. I’m wondering if it would more ideal for compatibility/charging efficiency if I use a USB to USB-C plug in to use the cable that came with my iPhone?
