Telegram and WhatsApp notifications

Hi, two days ago telegram notifications stopped working, even though I didn’t change any settings. Yesterday it happened the same with WhatsApp, I receive notifications only when the app is open. I tried to solve the problem upgrading my iPhone to iOS 16, but nothing changed. Can you help me fix this problem?

Telegram App not Showing up in Settings "Notifications" List I use an Iphone 16 Pro. For some reason Telegram does not show under "Settings", "Notifications". I Noticed this as I uninstalled the APP and when I wanted to connect my telegram I was not receiving the activation codes. I Can not set any notifications as it does not show as per above mentioned. When going to "settings" "Apps" then it shows that the app in installed although I can not access any notifications settings. I Also have sms/mms activated with my service provider. Restarted my phone numerous times. No WhatsApp/Telegram notifications on lock screen Since IOS 17.4 I can't receive WhatsApp notificarions on lock screen. No DND is on. Every seting is OK and App background refresh is ON. I have updated everything, restarted, force restarted and deleting the app and reinstalling. Nothing works. I do not want big AI features, or the iPhone to do magic staf. Just to deliver notifications like even a 100 dollar phone can do. And a 1000 dollar phone can't do.

Notifications problem No longer receive notifications on apps that I set up to receive them except iMessage. Also, no longer receive the red bubble and counter on each app unless I open the app. Since notifications stopped working I decided to update to iOS 16.5 and it didn’t fix the issue. i saw a similar topic that recommend to enable immediate notification, but I do not have this option (I restarted my phone). ex:

Thank you, I have checked and background app refresh is turned on for both 🤷🏼‍♀️

Then first check any internal app settings

eg Whatsapp - here are mine

and iphone notification settings

Settings, Notifications, Whatsapp

after that you may want to check for any Focus you have running

Settings, General, Background app refresh, ensure that is turned on for those apps.

WhatsApp (and probably Telegraph) has its own in-app settings too.
