I'm trying to recover deleted messages, but after following the instructions "tap edit", I do not see where I have a prompt for "show recently deleted messages"? I have an XS max.

iPhone XS Max, iOS 15

Recently deleted only keeps messages for 30 to 40 days.

NOTE: This option will not appear if you have no deleted messages!
