Safari "find on page" stops working

this has been going on a long time and it's really getting annoying. I can search for a term on the webpage in safari maybe once, and I can scroll through all of the different instances of that term using the arrows and then when I close that find box I can't search again. It will not come up when I try to search for a term in the webpage, it just sits there like I didn't do anything. If I restart my phone I think it fixes it but that's kind of a ridiculous thing to have to do all the time.
