Extreme 55AE: This accessory requires too much power.

I have iPhone 13 Pro and whenever I put my 1tb Sandisk SSD it’s showing Cannot Use Accessory Extreme 55AE: This accessory requires too much power. Please help how to troubleshoot this.

iPhone 13 Pro external SSD too much power Hi all, I thought I bought all the right pieces to do this, and I see videos of it working. No matter what I do, I still get the error. I have a Sandisk 1TB external SSD drive. I just bought the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera adapter. Connecting to an iPhone 13 Pro. This configuration tells me the device is using too much power. I have tried powering the adapter with a 30W MacBook power brick, multiple 20W bricks, and a portable charger. I even I tried a powered USB hub. No luck - they all charge the phone, and work with the other drives, but give the same error on the SanDisk no matter what I do. The adapter works perfectly with my wife's WD 1TB SSD drive (also AFPS format). It works perfectly with a flash drive (ExFat). It's just this one drive that fails. I've seen videos of this exact drive working fine with this adapter. Even though I know my cables are fine, I've tried alternates. Short ones, long ones, Apple brand, other brands. Note that I use this SanDisk drive daily with my iPad Pro and my MacBook Pro, so it's not defective. In fact it's incredibly fast, even on the iPad. Anyone have any ideas? I could swap drives with my wife, or just give up and return the adapter. I'd really like it to work with my new SanDisk drive though.

“This accessory requires too much power" - I’m sure it has been asked before - sorry I have an iPadAir model A2123 (if that helps) and I bought an adapter - model A1619 - so that I could import files from a USB drive. But no matter what USB device I connect to the A1619, I always get the same message “This accessory requires too much power". The A1619 is connected to my power and the other end to my iPad. None of the USB sticks I have have their own power supply - so is there anything I can do? The A1619 adapter wasn’t cheap! Thanks in advance

Accessory uses to much power - iPad I bought a Kingston card reader (FCR-HS219/1) together with a lightening camera adapter for USB3. This used to work OK but now reports “accessory uses too much power” when plugged in to the iPad Pro. Is this problem in any way connected to the upgrades to the iOS? (V16.5) I’ve noticed battery drain has become an issue since recent upgrades were installed so curious if this anecdotal observation has any connection to my problem. This sucks as an issue because I have no way now to read the SD card from my camera. Pls help…

That external 1TB SSD, Use too much powers of the iPhone, Meaning that it can drain even more the battery, The phone is refusing to send Power to the device, That's the problem, For now there's no solution for this(I think) more than, Connect it to a Computer or a laptop, And browse from there your files, If you want to use a Portable Device i would recommend you to buy a 128GB USB Sandisk with port for Lighting, I use that to browse my files in iPhone and iPad, Have a nice day!
