I am getting ready to migrate my old Mac Pro to my new Mac Pro -using my time machine. I’m all the way to the page that asks if I want to delete the existing user or keep both. What do I do now?

I’m at this point in my migration of my Mac Pro to my new Mac Pro by way of my time machine what choice do I make? Why?

It depends on whether you'd like to keep the existing account on the new computer and is a matter of personal preference.

If you have no stuff on the new Mac you want to retain under the user you created when you setup the new Mac than then select do not keep the existing user.
