I downloaded IOS16 and unable to see the recently deleted option to recover deleted messages

I assume you don’t have the iPhone 6 in your profile; you can’t install iOS 16 on a iPhone 6.

Recently Deleted folder appears now only If there are indeed Recently Deleed photos. If nothing to delete, it won't be there, like if you've deleted and emptied the Recently Deleted folder and celaned the deleted photos completely, it will disappear until there are new photos which are deleted from your albums.
