Unable to open attachments in Apple Messages

We would like to see how we can help you with not being able to open attachments with the Messages app. Are you receiving a specific error mesaage when attempting to open the attachment? Are you able to receive photos without issue? Let's check the storage available for the device currently. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. What does it show for avaiable? If you force close the Messages app and restart the iPhone with the steps in this link, does the issue return: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
