If your home button not work

• Restart your iPhone and see if the bug still there : Restart your iPhone - Apple Support (CA)

• Uptade your iPhone to iOS 15.7 and see if the bug still there : Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (CA)

• if is Touch ID : If Touch ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (CA)

• If not work : take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, or contact Apple Support
