Not receiving texts from android user

Hello,

For the past month or so I’m not able to receive individual text messages from my husband who has an android phone and different carrier (t-mobile) versus myself(Verizon). However, I am able receive text messages from him if it is a group chat?

Inability to Send/Recieve Text Messages from Android Phones I recently upgraded to an IPhone 14+ from my IPhone SE (2nd gen) and I switched carriers from T-Mobile to AT&T. I have transferred the phone number on the SIM card of my IPhone SE 2nd gen to my new IPhone 14+. Since that change I have been unable to send and/or receive text messages from android phones. The change has also affected group messages that I’m in that include android users by making it so I only recieve messages from those in my ICloud family. In those groups chats I no longer see other text messages from other iPhone users that are outside of my ICloud Family sharing group as well. I’ve tried the common solutions already like full resetting my network settings, toggling airplane mode and the group messaging, MMS and SMS settings off and on again, shutting the phone down, and calling my current carrier (AT&T), but no dice. Is there any other in depth solutions that I’m missing? Please help!

Group Text I can receive messages from group chats with people with Android. But they do not receive my texts. This just starting happening a couple of days ago.

I am not able to send group texts to both Android and iPhone users Have the same issue as many. Cannot send a group text to an iPhone user and android. Tried every trouble shooting trick! went into Verizon and still not resolved. Have an iPhone 12. All up to date with versions. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Did your husband previously have an iPhone? If so, they may need to follow these steps to deregister their phone number from iMessage: Deregister and Turn Off iMessage - Apple Support

If not, the steps in here may help with issues with not receiving messages: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
