Numbers Copy/Paste Issue in Google Sheets

SO this one is weird intersting. when trying to copy an *entire* data set into another program (i.e., Google sheets) copy/paste doesn't pick up all of the columns. One is always missing.

So I did the following:

  • Verified it still happens with a duplicate of the Numbers document

  • Pasted the copied data into a TextEdit Doc (did both RTF, and PTF) to see if there were any formatting issues and they both copied with NO ISSUES

  • tried selecting to copy by column letter- Missing a column

  • tried selecting all the cells in all columns, missing a column

  • Copied it into Excel with NO ISSUES

  • I CAN copy the single missing column into GS by itself.

  • By attempting to copy over the missing column in different combinations, I figured out the missing column is always the 4th one (tried selecting 5+ from different letter starting points and always had the 4th one missing)

  • I thought the easy fix I could use would be to just copy 4 columns at a time- BUT if I select from column A, then D (4th) will STILL BE MISSING (i.e., D-F, G [4th] is missing).

I think the issue lives in column D and repeats in the programing somewhere?

I cannot figure out if this is a GS issue or a Mac Numbers issue- but it wrinkles my brain and I wish I worked for either of the companies so I could figure it out. lol pay me you cowards.
