Apple Wallet - Apple card says "This card cannot be used"

Apple Wallet - suddenly my Apple card is not the default card & the transactions are not visible. Contacted the Apple card support (Goldman Sachs) & they verified the card is still active. There are technical difficulties w/latest Apple upgrade. :( Anyone else experience this?

The phone wallet says to remove the card, but if I do all the transactions will disappear. (not currently visible) I have been using the card for 3 years and do not want this to happen.
