Increased Spam to @Mac.com account without filtering

Lately (last few weeks), my @Mac.com email account is receiving more and more spam between midnight and 06:00 that is not being filtered by the spam filters. I have my @Mac.com account for several years (also my Apple ID) and this is a recent issue.


I have "Enable junk mail filtering" selected along with "Move it to the Junk mailbox." Is anyone else having this issue with Apple Mail not filtering junk email and if so, did you find a fix?


iMac 24″, macOS 12.6

You are not alone regarding the frequency of Spam Message and yes also have a @mac.com address


Have the same settings as yours and over time the Learning from macOS has Learned to identify most of the Spam and Filtered to the Junk Folder


Observation only. As more people have returned from Summer Vacations, so have the Spammers. Thusly, the increased volume of Spam flying around.


Block or unblock senders in Mail on Mac will not lessen the amount of Spam arriving but an added feature available
