New folder greyed out I could not start new folders. I’m sure different users may have varying reasons, but I finally worked out my failed attempt to lock a folder meant I could not rename any folders within. It would not allow renaming without a password. Also new folder option was greyed out. ‘in this case, it was solved by closing the “parent” folder and clicked get info. In that menu uncheck “locked”. All then worked well.

Missing file/folder rename option In the Files app, where is the rename option for files and folders? Supposedly its on the long-press menu but its not there. I had to install a third party file manager to rename items.

Can’t create “New Folder” The “New Folder” is grayed out and also can’t use shortcut. Can create new folder on Home Screen though.
