App Updates When Screen Time Restricts App Install

Is there ever plans to allow for updating apps even when app installs are restricted? It’s frustrating that you have to unlock the screen time allow to install apps just to update apps

We fellow users would not know about Apple's plans.

That's correct; you can't update apps if you have a restriction on installing apps. It makes sense in a way; some updates change the capabilities and features of the app.

Or trust your child a tad more. You can always monitor the situation.
