Safari Freezes when Entering A Password

Anyone else having this issue currently? I've seen it posted back in November 2020

I'm running ios16.0.3 on iphone 14 pro max

Reported this and escalated it to apple engineers three weeks ago. Keeps happening

Makes it impossible to sign up for any type of new account on Safari

Safari freezes when selecting "choose my own password". It's multiple sites. Whenever I try to register for an account and they have me create a password, my phone automatically generates a "strong password" that I'll never remember and that often doesn't fit the site's password guidelines. I always opt to choose my own password. For some reason now however, whenever I click this, the keyboard disappears and my browser freezes. I can not switch to another window or click on anything. My only option is to close the browser entirely.

Safari freeze when create a password in safari or reset a password When I try to create a password or reset a password in Safari in iOS 16 on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, Safari will freeze. This is especially annoying when I am using a one-time password reset link. When I click the entry box to enter the new password, the "strong password" setting kicks in automatically. When I try to select the "Use Own Password" or whatever the option is called, Safari freezes, and I'm forced to use another browser. Though I've seen this issue with others in prior versions of iOS, I've never had the issue before until updating to iOS 16.

Safari freezing with ios16 update Is anyone else having issues with the new iPhone update where whenever you have to create a password the app crashes and you have to either force close multiple times or hard reset? It will only work for private browsing but it's a pita to have to turn on every time. Support chat was absolutely no help. They told me my device is working properly and to contact the website developer. Yeah I'm sure it's all the website developers problem not apples....I tried numerous website with same problem.
