im loggin in on my macbook but it does not let me login, i do know my passowrd and everything it does enter but my apple id is not singing in only on my macbook

I can’t log in to my Mac after getting it back from Apple! My macbook went in for repairs and today when an employees was showing me around my computer compared to the new ones he went past me signing in with my Apple ID and put in some Apple Store information instead. Now when I open my computer the user name is “a” and wants a password to get in. It won’t let me sign out or do anything before inputting this password that I don’t know. Despite the fact you know your login credentials and are certain they are correct, If you forgot your Mac login password - Apple Support describes what to do, including options If you can't reset your Mac login password.
