Airplaying message on screen

I am screen mirroring and the message “Currently Airplaying to device” won’t go away. The 2015 fix I found to turn off Conference setting is not applicable as that function doesn’t show in my Settings. Thanks for your help.

To start off with, check this article to make sure the steps for using Airplay between your Apple TV and iPad are being followed: Use AirPlay to stream audio and video on Apple TV - Apple Support.


If that does not help, try ending the screen sharing session and restarting the iPad (Restart your iPad - Apple Support), then restart the session. This may help to straighten out the devices.
