iphone 12 battery 64 percent health

I have a iPhone 12 pro max i bought at the end of august 2021. This makes it about 1 year and 2 months old. The battery health is at 64 percent and drops about 1 percent every 3-4 days now. The battery lasts about 2 hours on a full charge now. Thinking of just buying a new phone cause this is getting unbearable. Is this normally what happens?

Normally, Apple will replace a battery under warranty if health falls below 80% within one year of purchase, but as you've gone beyond that you are now out of warranty.

You may want to check with your local Apple Store to see if they are willing to discount the cost of a battery replacement.
