Find My app on iPhone doesn't show Apple Watch even though I'm wearing it

The Find My apps on my iPhone 7 and iPad 9 don't show my Apple Watch (series 6, not cellular) even though I'm wearing the watch. Somehow the watch stopped communicating its location to my other Apple devices. The Watch app on my phone looks fine. All devices including the watch are connected to the same WiFi network. Any thoughts?
