Why is the photo widget showing no content?

I have searched the community for help on this and followed all the advise given (e.g.restart, reinstall widget, wait over night plugged in etc), to no avail. I am using a new iPhone 14 pro , iOS 16.0.2.

Other widgets are working.

Photo Widget keeps showing a deleted photo Why the photo widget on my iPhone 14 pro max keeps showing deleted photos? when I tap on the photo, it moves me the photos app not to the photo itself.
