Can information be separated by device such as data messages photos notes instead of appearing on all devices signed in with a single Apple ID after you designate a person using the same Apple ID as a legacy Contact?
If you turn off iCloud syncing, photos and notes will only appear on the device that they were originally entered on. For data messages, you would need to use a different Apple ID/phone number for Messages/FaceTime on each device.
