Dock Showing Recent Apps Even After Setting It Not To
The right side of my dock is full of recent apps, even though I have the setting turned off in settings.

The solution is to also check "Minimize windows into application icon" option. Then, open all of the recents one at a time and minimize them. You will see that they now go to their app icon towards the left instead of to the right into their own.
