I have transferred data to old iPhone to new iPhone,
I want to know that,
when I open WhatsApp in new I phone so have to log in again to WhatsApp,
so after I add number and otp I can get all the chats or I have to take backup first in old iPhone ?

Good. You will be able to enter and validate your WhatsApp account on the new iPhone and all should be good. If, for any reason, you have trouble restoring your WhatsApp sessions, then you still have ALL of the data still available on your old iPhone which you can then backup on a computer and restore your new iPhone from (if needed).

Which transfer method did you use to get the information from your old iPhone to your new iPhone?
Normally, once the data has been transferred, then you enter and validate your phone number on WhatsApp and then the app populates automatically because the information is already transferred from your old iPhone.
