iMessage takes a lot of storage

My iMessage app has 16.28 GB even though I deleted all of my conversations and large attachments. What should I do?

If that did not help, I would restore the iPhone to your latest backup and see if that corrects the issue.

If that did not help, I would restore the iPhone to your latest backup and see if that corrects the issue.

Did you power cycle the iPhone off and back on again after deleting that content?
